Our Farmstay Boarding Retreat is designed for owners looking for a more personalised, hands-on alternative to traditional kennels.
Set on our rural property, dogs enjoy a relaxed, enriching environment where they become part of the daily routine rather than simply being housed while you’re away. We intentionally keep our numbers low so every dog receives plenty of individual attention, affection, exercise, and tailored care.

For dogs who prefer their own space or aren’t particularly social, we adapt their stay to suit their comfort level. Not every dog enjoys group interactions, and that’s perfectly okay. Our priority is ensuring each dog feels safe, relaxed, and enjoys their time with us.
Pricing
Boarding is $50 per night for stays up to three weeks.
Discounted rates are available for extended stays. Christmas/New Years rate is $65 per night (between 20th December - 5th January)

Where do the dogs sleep?
Dogs stay in our purpose-built Farmstay Cabin, located close to our family home so we can hear and monitor them, even throughout the night.
The cabin is fully air-conditioned to keep dogs comfortable year-round, regardless of the weather outside.
We offer a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit individual dogs, including both crate options for dogs who feel safest in a den-like space and larger room-style cubicles for dogs who prefer more freedom. We always try to accommodate what your dog is most comfortable and familiar with at home.
Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment where your dog can settle in, relax, and enjoy their holiday while you’re away.
Will my dog be with other dogs?
Where appropriate, dogs enjoy socialisation and playtime with carefully selected compatible dogs. However, not every dog enjoys social interactions, and that’s perfectly okay. We tailor each dog’s stay to suit their personality, confidence, and individual needs. All dogs eat, sleep and rest in their own space - exceptions being dogs from the same home who owners prefer be housed together.
What should I bring for my dogs stay?
We ask that you provide your dog’s usual food to help avoid tummy upsets and maintain their normal routine during their stay. You’re also welcome to bring any medications, special treats, favourite toys, or comfort items you’d like them to have while they’re with us.
We provide plenty of comfortable beds and blankets for our guests, all of which are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between stays. Most dogs settle in beautifully with our bedding, but if your dog has a favourite blanket or bed from home, you’re welcome to bring that along too.
Can you administer medication?
Yes. We are happy to administer most medications as part of your dog’s normal routine. Please provide clear instructions when booking.
Can you accept elderly dogs?
Absolutely. Senior dogs are very welcome. We adjust exercise, enrichment, and daily activities to suit each dog’s age, mobility, and energy levels to ensure they remain comfortable and happy throughout their stay.
How do I book my dog in for boarding?
The first step is to complete our enquiry form. Once we’ve received your enquiry, we’ll get in touch to discuss your dog’s needs, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether our Farmstay Boarding is the right fit for them.
Where appropriate, we may arrange a meet-and-greet before confirming your booking. Once everyone is happy, we’ll secure your dog’s stay and provide any information you need before their arrival.
Please note that while we’re happy for you to visit the property and explain how everything works, we do not offer walkthroughs of the Farmstay Cabin while guest dogs are staying. The comfort and wellbeing of our boarding dogs is always our highest priority, and some dogs can become unsettled by unfamiliar visitors entering their accommodation area.
Do you require a deposit to secure a booking?
Yes. For all new clients and holiday bookings, we require a 20% non-refundable booking fee to secure your dog’s reservation.
This booking fee is deducted from the total cost of your dog’s stay, with the remaining balance due prior to collection at the end of the boarding period.
As we keep our numbers intentionally low and often book out during peak holiday periods, the booking fee helps ensure spaces are reserved for committed bookings.
